(Reuters) – Activist investor Elliott Management has built a stake in Japan-based Toshiba (OTC:TOSYY) Corp, the Financial Times reported on Thursday, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter.

Toshiba did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
